Copier Leasing

Leasing a copier can be pretty tricky. There isn’t exactly a list of rules you should follow but here are a few things you should definitely have in mind when you’re trying to get a new copier:Bills

Make sure that your current insurance company will cover your new expensive piece of equipment. If they will then make you have the paper work filled out as soon as you have your new copier, otherwise you might get charged by the leasing company for insurance.

Read the fine print and make sure that if you are paying any prorated payments for the new machine that they go toward the total amount owed for the copier.

Make sure you have the appropriate payment schedule set up. Sometimes leasing companies will have it set up so that it is impossible for companies to make payments on time and the late fees can be substantial.

Sometimes lease companies try to charge a documentation fee (usually about $50) and there is no reason you should pay this so ask your sales rep to have it waived
